The one we propose is a new itinerary: Les Grandes Alpes! As reported on the signs in France, this is a beautiful itinerary that will take us visiting these mountains, offering breathless routes and views. Crossing Switzerland, France, Austria and Italy we will come to know the highest peak in Europe, the Mont Blanc with its almost 5 mt high! Climbing the glacier by cableway it’s really astonishing! We will cross some of the most important passes of Tour de France, like the Galibier, the Izoard or the Iseran and of Giro d’Italia, like the Stelvio, the wonderful Dolomites passes, the famous Swiss Eight and the Grossglockner in Austria. Definitely the best of the best! It will be eleven fabulous days.

Day 1: arrive in Milan
Arrival in Milan. We recommend to land in Linate airport as this is the closest airport to the town while Bergamo Orio and Malpensa are far more away even if they are well connected with Linate. The hotel is close to Linate airport and we will meet there in the evening to know all the tour members and brief about the journey. Welcome Dinner.
Day 2: from Milan to Turin - 190 km / 118 miles
We will pick up the motorbikes from the rental agency. We will then take the Autostrada and drive towards the French border. We will stop in Piedmont for the night.
Day 3: from Turin to Tignes - 200 km /124 miles
We will get into France and we will start travelling thru some of the most beautiful passes, while having fun driving our bikes. We will arrive to the highest pass of the Alps, The Iseran, and, at the end of the day we will happily reach our Hotel.
Day 4: from Tignes to Chamonix - 210 km / 130 miles
We will try new routes and passes, like the Galibier, The San Bernardo, etc. In the afternoon we will arrive at Chamonix.
Day 5: rest day in Chamonix
Today will be our first resting day, so we leave the motorbikes. We could do rafting, hang-gliding or, as it is highly recommended, we can take the cableway and climb the glacier of MontBlanc. The view at 3500 mt it is terrific! From here we can see the bulk of Alpine Arc with the highest peaks like the Cervino.
Day 6: from Chamonix to Andermatt - 200 km / 124 miles
We will get back on our way getting into Switzerland. In this country we need to be very careful about speed limits as the Swiss Police is really uncompromising. After visiting some small towns, we will start climbing again towards the Furka Pass and finally we will reach Andermatt.
Day 7: from Andermatt to Andermatt - 200 km /124 miles
We can leave the motorbike cases at the hotel as we will do a “shape 8 tour” and after four wonderful Passes we will get back to the hotel, very pleased and fulfilled.
Day 8: from Andermatt to Innsbruck - 310 km / 193 miles
From Andermatt we will early start our day, as this is will be longest stage of all the tour. We will leave Switzerland to get into Austria, crossing beautiful routes. We will arrive in Innsbruck in the late afternoon.
Day 9: from Innsbruck to Lienz - 240 km / 150 miles
We are now in the Tyrol Region and we will drive towards the Grossglockner, the highest mountain in Austria. The route is really fantastic. We will arrive in Lienz in the evening.
Day 10: from Lienz to Cortina - 200 km / 124 miles
We will go back to Italy after seeing so many beautiful places. But still one is missing, the biker’s paradise: The Dolomites. On these roads we will find a huge number of motorbikes. The beauty of these mountains is really unique, that’s why they are part of Unesco Heritage. After having fun on these terrific roads, we will get to our Hotel.
Day 11: from Cortina to - 230 km / 143 miles
We will sadly leave the Dolomites, but the next stop is not less: the very famous Stelvio Pass, the King of the Alpine Passes, with his 88 hairpin-bends! This will be the final test to be promoted real bikers! It will be an adventure to remember. We will then get back to Switzerland where we will stay for the night.
Day 12: from to Milan - 190 km / 118 miles
It’s our last day, but it does not mean we won’t be having fun! We will get down to Maloja Pass after stopping in SaintMoritz. We will reach Como Lake where we will see beautiful homes on the shore of the lake. We will go back to Milan to give back our motorbikes. A nice farewell dinner afterward will allow us to properly wave each other
